Dunbar Highland Games

Updated: May 14, 2019

After a long winter, our Peoples Ford Boghall & Bathgate Caledonia Juvenile, Novice Juvenile A and B bands were delighted to feel grass under their feet and sunshine on their backs at the Rspba L&B Branch competition in Dunbar today.

Massive congratulations are due to our Juvenile band who, with half of the players making their outdoor debut in the grade, took first place.

The Novice As also performed admirably and took 3rd place. We’re excited to see how this young and talented band develops throughout the season.

In Novice Juvenile B, Douglas’s band showed great maturity and composure on their way to picking up 2nd place. Like the Juvenile band, they earned first places from both piping judges.

If you’re at Gourock tomorrow, be sure to catch our Grade 1 band who compete at 1550. We look forward to seeing all our friends at Paisley for the British Championships next week.
