British Championships

The Peoples Ford Boghall and Bathgate Caledonia Grade 1 band were delighted with both their performance and 4th place at the British Pipe Band Championships on Saturday. Despite challenging wet and cold conditions, the band were able to attain their highest result in a major championship in P/M Ross Harvey’s tenure and indeed since 2014.

Our drum corps were also delighted to start the season with a 4th placed finish after a productive winter of hard work. This was both an excellent start to L/D Gordon Brown’s 40th year with our organisation and a fine way to welcome talented new members to the team, 9 of whom were promoted from our Juvenile band this year.
