Peoples Ford Boghall & Bathgate Caledonia Pipe Band would like to send our deepest condolences to all the family and friends of the legendary P/M Bob Shepherd MBE.
The band have long been associated with R T Shepherd & Son (Scotland) Ltd, who have sponsored the band for over two decades.
Bob's philosophy with Dysart, in which he taught youngsters and equipped them with all the necessary skills and attributes to ultimately compete at the highest level in pipe bands, served as an inspiration to Boghall's first Pipe Major, Bob Martin in the early days of our organisation. We'd like to think that we're still one of the few organisations who are keeping his original principles alive. So there we are: inspiration, mentor, supporter and friend. Thanks for everything.
